since the poll started the bullpup looked like a winner, with the pump action coming in a strong second and it still looks pretty much the same

I only feel sad that the medieval style (and side by side) got so few votes

and it is very hard to choose also since they are all great designs

anyway very exciting, which do you guys think will win?

cheers/Johan

Seems like the bullpup design will win, probably because it has this "military" approach.

It is a very powerful thing, and accurate too.

I am currently working on a sling-x-bow kit with all the parts, minus some wooden rods and wooden shaft. The kit parts would come from Peter Hogan, cast in aluminum. Idea: Everyone can easily make a powerful and accurate sling-x-bow at home. The more experienced guys can make a very cool shaft and pimp it to the max.

I am looking at a weapon not unlike the winch cannon, but much slimmer, and with a stirrup instead of the winch. The lock/trigger sled would be pulled up with both hands on hooks. This will allow very strong bands even for weaker shooters.

The accuracy of the "inline" system and the roller lock are unrivaled. I will give this a military look, and include a weaver rail for sighting systems.

which one is the inline system? the one in the pump action gun or the bullpup?

the roller lock for the medieval shows your great engineering skills

I think it's very cool that you do not need a pouch and still makes a slingshot crossbow as with the pump action, that makes it even simpler to construct when there is no need for leather-tools or pouch leather for that matter

    Hi,
I think the Pulley Bullpup will win, it' s a great X- Bow.
I like it too( i am trying to make one) but the Pump Action seems to be more fun-to-use. That' s why i voted for it. I hope to see the blueprints soon...
