Hi guys,<br>I made this one without power tools. It is inspired by onnod, Joerg and the nintendo nunchuk.I know, it sounds weird but you will see it in the pictures. I left it soak in linseed oil for 15 hours and it still have to dry. I made some mistakes in the sanding process, i think, but i don' t want to sand it again.<br><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ovhHoqcze6k/T-7WABEQb9I/AAAAAAAAAbg/U9PGq6slYUU/s512/1.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Obalotea6tU/T-7V7O3tA0I/AAAAAAAAAbU/8MpMJziSXNo/s512/2.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-eTQrh2tazek/T-7V3eW4x8I/AAAAAAAAAbI/dUTqL26L9fg/s512/3.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ex62kNptKfk/T-7Vy0-CJEI/AAAAAAAAAa8/PcznbuI1OkQ/s512/5.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br>Now that it is oiled, i don' t know what to do. Try the super glue finnish, that means a risk to screw up everything or varnish... or just leave it like it is?

It is when i saw <a href="http://theslingshotforum.forumotion.com/t1335-new-hammerhandle" class="postlink">THIS</a> topic. The handle you made have a little piece going up onto your hand and it makes look like your fork is more forward. That' s how i got the idea of that shape. And the handle i made is pretty the same than yours, i just carved it more like the nunchuk.<br><br><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04KlrZoDS9A" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">HERE</a> it is drying.

Looks cool.<br>Why not sand it again? If you are not really happy you should give it a try!

Sanding mistakes can be cleared easily mostly. You will see all good when the oil dries completely.<br>Very nice work.<br><br><br><table width="90%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0" border="0" align="center">

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwJBMjQZrS4" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">HERE</a> is a little test i made. I used Kettler bands cutted two layers straight 2 cm/25 cm( half butterfly). It is pretty fast and powerful. I was shooting from 7m with 10mm steel and as you can see on the vid, i am not so accurate. That' s because i always shoot with my PFS bottle opener, i need more practice with this one. Here are some pics with bands on it.<br><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-oHI-GGx0e4E/T_CWrfMktZI/AAAAAAAAAcI/LBKb1LDoiDo/s512/2012-07-01%252019.00.01.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ZOkzMQ-jTtY/T_CWvh05IsI/AAAAAAAAAcY/LQdCJ5fgDMI/s512/2012-07-01%252019.00.20.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-3tCc2Asi7QI/T_CW9st5MbI/AAAAAAAAAco/KoQihvM1XuU/s512/2012-07-01%252019.00.42.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br>You can see in the last pic the shape of the back of the fork. I damaged most of my slingshots on that area. In this case, the ball can hit and continue the path with less damage for the slingshot.

I really don' t know. Kettler makes only 2 kind of bands, i think. Green( yellow) are medium and purple are strong. I only used TB blue so i can' t compare them. You can see it <a href="http://www.mizado.com/fitness-sporting-goods/latex-flex-band/kettler/" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">HERE</a><br>I buy them in a sport shop nearby.

<span class="postbody"><br><br>So may be you can figure out whether the Kettler stretches as far as the TB blue. Is it opaque, or translucent like TB?</span>
