Maybe it's cause of the design of the slingshot, or the bands attachment method? I suppose that you tried to shoot in different ways, so it wouldn't be a tecnique problem.

<div>Perhaps your pouch and tie method weigh too much for your ammo? sometimes you can design the slingshot to stop these things physically tho...</div><div class="clear"></div><div class="signature_div">

Ive found that bad handslaps occur bc of a band to ammo ratio that is off meaning the bands arent transfering enough energy to the ammo cause it to recoil to the hand. what kind of set up are you using with what ammo?

I'd say, up your ammo if your forks are far enough apart. Otherwise, i can totally recommend a tapered office rubber chain of #64s (4,4,3,2) on each side of the pouch. The bands are still very light,.<br>

A little help flip style, but sometimes it just slaps me in the hand.<br>I bought a left golf glove for $ 5 and it is probably best. Just shoot with the glove.
