Finally a new Slingshot for me

Another Starfighter from white acrylic glas. i used a Dremel to carve some patterns in it and filled them with blue resin.
The basic problem is... my expectation is higher than my skill. I cant carve straight lines with a dremel by hand...thats why they look worn-out... But the overall look is ok.
So it's not perfect and therefore, i don't have second thoughts when i shoot steel with it
i added a fixed aiming aid. Two little stickers for contrast and in combination with a line on the bandset, aiming is very easy...

I still miss the target though
This will be my new workhorse

This is the template i use.
I was not able to make a sideways-template yet... so you have to improvise from the pictures.
I made 4 of those and they all turned out somewhat different

Wenn Du eine scharfe Linienführung willst empfehle ich Dir mal ab und an die Feile zu schwingen. .

Das mit der Feile ist leider nicht ganz so einfach. Wenn du anfängst die Wellen auszufeilen bekommst du ganz schnell unterschiedliche geometrien weil die ja nicht immer an der gleichen stelle sind. Das sieht dann auch nicht besser aus.
Schablone geht auch nicht, weil die Schablone müsste ich auch custom machen... mit dem selben Problem... 3D CNC... das würde gehen
