Hi, I want to know where you like to shoot. It would be nice if you can write it in this topic or maybe post a picture.

I like it to shoot in the nature where arent many peple so I can relax. I shoot in the forest, at a huge field or grassland. I also like to shoot over/in a sea or a river.

I am happy about your answers and I will post a picture from one of my favorite places where I shoot when I go there next time.

Back yard, 9 acres mostly wooded. There is a logging road not far from home with trails and some sweet places to shoot. A friends back yard. Those three places most of the time in that order.

I shoot in my backyard only, but its been raining for what seems like a week
so no shooting lately

reason for shooting on my property only is because Im not really sure of the legality of carrying it. Its legal to own in my state, but I dont know if its legal to carry (legal to own a sword, but id be in trouble if i walked down the street with it lol) , and if the cops would be assholes to me just because they dont know there is communities of slingshot enthusiasts that use slingshots SAFELY and just love them for their beauty, and don't know that not every person with a "weapon" is out to hurt someone or vandalize something

my county is silly with its weapon laws anyway, Airsoft guns are illegal in aust lol even things made for defense are illegal, eg - tasers, pepper spray and body armor.

I was just reading the weapon laws of my state, and one not i found interesting:

Theyre quite specific on laws about knifes

"Fighting knives (ie butterfly knives, daggers, flick
knives, push knives, trench knives or other kinds of knives designed or
adapted for hand to hand fighting (but not bayonets or swords)."

"Knife belts that conceal or disguise a knife, dagger or similar weapon. An example is a belt of the type known as a Bowen Knife Belt."

"Throwing knives that are capable of causing serious injury."

"Undetectable knives, that is a knife that is
capable of causing serious injury and is made of a material that is
undetectable by a metal detector or X-ray machine."

Then it notes right at the bottom that:

"A member of the Sikh religion is exempt from the offences of possession and use of a
knife under section 15(1c)(b) of the Act to the extent that the member possesses, wears or
carries the knife for the purpose of complying with the requirements of the Sikh religion."

Im not familiar with the Sikh religion and im not against it or any religion but that is some silly shit

Im converting to joergspravism and I want exemptions from laws - allowing me to walk around armed to the teeth with consealed arm arrow shooters and zombie hammers

I live within 20 mins of the city center, so its fairly busy where i live.
so probs best to just keep it in the back yard

/rant

I need a better catchbox

Wow , It is interesing that so many people shoot in their backyard. I think it is the best way to get no problem with the law. But I dont like to shoot in my Backyard , because I dont know whether the neighbours like it and my backyard is not big enough to shoot safely.

@Slingshots4Australia I am surprised , because I dont know how strict are the laws in your country.

Backyard for me too. Since I live in the middle of the city, I don't really have any other options, unless I want to drive about 60 miles one way to get out to where it's legal to hunt. City life sucks. I'd LOVE to live out in the middle of nowhere where I could shoot slingshots, guns, whatever, whenever I wanted to, but I can't afford to. Ah, well. I can still dream about it.

Mine is a very small mountain village. 10 minutes walk (3 minutes biking) and I'm outside. Every week-end I go on a mountain trek (either on foot or by MTB), I always carry a slingshot and steel ammo, but in the open I only use stones I pick up during the march, or various kinds of berries. Raw wild rose berries shoot wonderfully at ten metrs max, while they are a good replacement for paint balls when ripe, so do cherries, but I'd rather eat those. Here are some of the hundreds of places I stop for a few dozens rounds.

Sorry the image upload won't work. I'll post it later.

It did work this time.

Areas like this are a little bit more expensive, as you need a lot of ammo. There are living lots of people around this place and they go for a walk very often (especialy with dogs). but this dogs are just additional targets.

@ toksick: did i ever mention that I hate dogs?

*that was just a joke*

she obviously has a side business with your ammonition dealer. I bet she gets dog cake for your ammo and he is happy to be able to sell you the same stuff a couple of times.

@LANUZZI The playground looks nice, but I think in the summer it is there too hot.

@slingor Sounds cool. I need 35 minutes biking to get to my shooting place.

@tokSick Haha very funny idea. A dog bring back your marbles. I hope your dog learn it.
