Hello,

This is Camo-sling from slinging.org! I have posted a video of myself slinging stones at a beautiful lake a few weeks ago! I hope to demonstrate the power of the sling to you guys and hopefully introduce you to some slinging techniques and convince a few members to have a go! Just remember to begin slinging with tennis balls!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zsw_fwszX7U

I will be posting various videos of slinging in slow motion, target shooting and tutorials in a few weeks so stay tuned if you like slinging!

Thanks,

Nick.

That's not bad at all. I did a little slinging as a kid, but I never stuck with it long enough to get very good.

Are stones uniform enough to provide consistent, accurate shots?

Yes, river stones often are very similar and provide uniform like accuracy. They are not easily taken by the wind and unless they completely jagged, they won't swing or curve.

Many people make their own clay balls or concrete balls to make certain every piece of ammunition is the same weight and shape for even more uniformity.

Furthermore, lead glandes also produced to share the same features as clay balls.

Rulz1523, I usually use a 28-30 inch sling. The pouch I use are generally 4 inches, however, I go up to 5 inches for use with purely tennis balls

Started to get the release in a good direction. Good to try and learn new skills like this.

That's a good and functional sling you have there Marvtommo. Golf balls are very slippery ammunition and are difficult to sling from a paracord pouch as they tend to lack grip on golf balls like many slings. I have had the most success slinging golf balls with the Aussiesling or a leather pouch.

Keep up the good work!

Nick.
