hey guys, i finally found time to do some slingshot making again, so i started working on my yew forks. the first one is made from the smallest fork i had, first i was kind of disappointed because there was not much color in it (one of my main reasons to use yew is the color). So instead of going with an all natural look, which was my original plan, i made the handle thinner. after i did this you could see more color and now i'm quite happy with it the second one is made from the biggest fork i had. i choose my personal PFS design which fitted just right and i was pleasantly surprised with the color on the sides (at this time i hadn't done anything to the "face" of the slingshot). But when i started to flatten out the top i became more and more exited because with every cut i made more and more colors appeared, and now after oiling i think it looks a bit like candy. very happy with this one hope you like 'm!
