Thanks for comments!
The beech fork was already death, maybe he was cut last year and stay a long time in the forest... but he is still strong!

Really nice, did you bend the forks into that round shape or carve them like that?

Is that the natural pattern or did you paint it ? Looks good either way

Tobias, very good work and very accurate - it's sometimes quite difficult to saw and rasp the sshots from a fork

Btw. why didn't you make the one from beech smaller? What ammo will you shoot? 20mm? Asking, because when I see a sshot I never know the max ammo size that can be used.

    Thanks!

i made only naturals, i like it to think about what´s the best design for the fork, this is why it´s always a one-of

the beech fork was much larger than the other, this is why i made it biger but bouth are made for smaler ammo up to 13mm or so.
and also i want test a new template i made on the beech one.

but i like the smal one more! it was the same template like i use for my persimmon shooter.

EDIT:
here is the Template from the beech one:
https://docs.google.com/open?id=0BxmVItl59G_ZSDE4U0tJSnVBNmM

    Very nice slingshots, Tobias!

Both are really special ones and i love the warm (psychdelic) grain from the second! And of course the shapes looks like natural organic grown ! This is a big craft, exellent work !

Yes, and the wood is maybe not so strong... i don´t want to test triple layer on those i have some other ss for heavy bands, all my naturals are for smaler ammo so far, will build one for strong bands soon.
