TTF oak and ply

    I salvaged the curly oak from a log that was bound for the fire pit. I'm a hero, this stuff is gorgeous. I glued it up to some birch plywood and made this little curvy dude.

    Front swell has a central lamination of maple and lacewood veneer because that's what I had on hand.

    I'm holding it backwards, but you can see how the fork curves forward when being held correctly.

    This thing just melts into my hand. Very fun to shoot, and nice display piece.
