    Hello this is my first post and I'm very new to posting a new thread thing, so thanks and enjoy my idea! :)

    This sling bow combines the three ideas Joerg made:

    One the old video where Joerg makes a shotgun slingshot. Link for video:
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zz2oGkggCCs"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zz2oGkggCCs[/ame]

    The bullpup slingshot. Link for video:
    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eu_kbfr_tdU"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eu_kbfr_tdU[/ame]

    And last the winch operated slingshot cannon. Link for video:

    The winch operated sling-shotgun uses the shotgun pouch from the shotgun slingshot video, the pre-tensed rubber from the bullpup slingshot video, and the winch mechanism and the ammo grabber (I'll get pic soon :) ) from the winch operated slingshot cannon video. All these combined will (hopefully) get the winch operated sling-shotgun.

    To use it you put the pouch into the pouch holder (I'll get pic coming soon :) ). Then fill the shotgun pouch with steel bb bullets. Finally turn the winch to the point where you have to stop. Fire. The pre-tensed rubber will make it much more powerful than regular rubber un-tensed. The shotgun pouch will then release the ammo to create a powerful wide-spread demolishing thingy.

    So if any of you can make the "Winch Operated Sling-Shotgun", can you guys post on the comments bellow to see if my idea worked?

    Thanks and good luck for ones who will actually make this idea. :)

    My pics uploaded a minute after, here are the pics:

    Do you see the trigger and ammo holder? Not the winch, the ammo holder up front holding the pouch in the pic. If you see it, you'll get what I mean by the slingshot shotgun pouch holder in the text above. That is what I mean in the text. Now if you understand and get my idea, good luck, you'll need it. :)

    I may build a sling-shotgun-crossbow sometime soon. You have given me a few ideas! :)

    Sounds good. Since you are using a winch, the rate of fire won't be perfect; but I like that you compensated for that by making it have multiple shots. I'm not sure how much power you would have, because you are using the bullpup design, so you might want to double stretch the rubber over some rollers; just a thought. See if you can get Joerg to take a look.

    Jörg said, rollers cost energy so it is not more kinetic energy at the bullet at end.

    Another try: How about a pulley to increase the speed, so the terminal velocity is much higher?

    Maybe it is possible to shoot lightweight ammo with higher speed then, so at end it is the same kinetic energy but without a winch.
