    Hey slingshot enthusiasts!

I've just finished my last slingshot for this year. The frame is 10 mm aluminium with red paper micarta liners, ebony and stabilized mosaic maple scales. It fits my hand perfectly!
I will band it up tomorrow for a shooting session. Thanks for watching and I hope you like it!

I don't think any superlatives I think up would do it justice, so I will just say thats a great looking slingshot!

    feuerwerk1.gif What a beautiful ending for 2013 feuerwerk1.gif

Your “liner” work is outstanding. The handle scales are awesome and I like the big lanyard hole.

10 mm Aluminum is is a pest to work, I still have something lying around don’t like the file work on it.

Will you put tubes ore bands on this one?

    Once again, I love it!

No way you made this! I swear, it must have been made by a Sorcerer Alien from a planet with much more advanced technology than ours. Or is it crafted by Gods? Outstanding!! :D

    Thank you Mr.Music Man :)

Police???? Heeeelp!!!! I did nothing illegal (I hope). Glad that you like it my friend!

Thanks for the kind comment and for stopping by my friend!

    Thank you doom!

    Thanks mate!

Thank you. Glad that you like it tho' it is shaped for left hand hold ;)

Thanks kohlqez! Making micarta liners is quite simple. In this case I used 2 layers of thick paper cardboard. Just soak it in resin and press it between the wood. [IMG]
I've glued the handle on a plywood tray for curing and pre shaping.

Thank you my friend! I agree, the shaping on the 10 mm aluminium was a plague. The workshop (me included) was covered with black aluminium dust. Besides that you have to take care, that you don't mess up the wood and micarta with that aluminium grease!
I want to compare looped tubes and flats. Maybe I will make another set with single TTG. I am quite curious about the result!

Thank you Withak! I hope I can do a quick shooting session today!

You got me FIAAO! Yesterday I went in the woods for fork hunting. Then I was caught by a thunderstorm. Whilst searching for shelter a branch came crushing down on me and knocked me off. I woke up a few minutes later and found this slingshot in my hand. No clue what happened....

    Thanks my friend!

    Thank you Jeremy!

Arturo, my friend! Thanks for stopping by and thanks that you like it - tho' it is not a PFS ;)

    Thanks mate!

Flicks, that is pure art! Made for the wrong hand;), but still top notch like always. Ally is a bastard to shape when it's that thick. You did a wicked good job on this one. I like Failure's explanation, it had to be aliens.

    Thank you Skorps!

Yes I know Mr. Slingpit :D I fact your great aluminium shooters inspired me to make a aluminium frame. Thank you!

Hey Dolo! Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comment.

I've made some test shots with different band sets and 10mm steel yesterday. TBG single 20/18mm tapered, TT green and looped 5mm dia latex tubes.
The looped tubes worked best for me. The speed and power is very close to TBG. I really like them!

Happy new year to all of you!
