I found this post at the SlingshotChannel blog:
http://slingshotchannel.blogspot.se/2010/03/comments-on-youtube.html
Back then, people had left 2,968 comments in total. The latest video, the Auto Minigun, has 8,103 comments for the moment. One video alone. Also, at about the same time, the total amount of views for the Slingshotchannel was 500 000. At the moment, that number is 26 384 970 views. Also, the Slingshotchannel has 100 times as many subscribers as it had at the 1st year anniversary.
I find that pretty epic. Its kind of amazing how big this channel has gotten!
With that said, I hope the sucess will continoue, and I wish you the best of luck in the future, Joerg!

Yes, it is quite remarkable and I am very proud. Persistence, dedication and a dash of creativeness - seems like that is all it takes to run a popular channel on youtube.

But it is a very time intensive job. I have invested countless hours into my channel. I love what I am doing, but financially, if I would put a price tag on my hours, it would be quite a desaster. But as it stands, it is a very rewarding hobby.

You need a toy workshop Also magical elves and flying reindeer.

I would volunteer as staff elf.

I probably would not make a good machine shop elf, but I could take care of your flying reindeer and assist Mrs Claus in baking chocolate-chip cookies. My only demand is that I get plenty of free time to play with the toys and run with the wolves.

Seriously, I think you could be a multi-billionaire with your all of your creative ideas. If not manufacturing, maybe put together do-it-yourself kits for big kids to assemble.

I want to thank you again for doing this and spending your time Jörg.

This forum here is my "main forum" because of the conversation tone and the fact that here is not a place for the "pure doctrine" of slingshots.
A liberal attitude towards all kinds of "rubber-powered-shooting-constructions" is what I was searching for.... and I found it here.

Thanks Jörg

PS
With the Project around the world we cracked the 5000 views and 350 replies.
