I had a slingshot in my mind, that is compact, light, easy to make and can be hold in different ways. And here it is, "The Slingring". The green/red one was the prototype. I've played around with a different design and different material. The wooden one is made of acacia with a beechwood inlay. Hope you like it.

Woah, that looks nice! The States-version looks cool...

It reminds me on Jörgs old Ring-slingshot, but bigger and maybe more practical!

Thanks for your kind feedback. I appreciate it very much.
@Courier: it is not difficult to work with this material. you can saw and grind it quite easy, but you have to glue several layers together to make it strong enough. As it is a kind of hard foam, it has pores, so you need to finish with paint.
I really like these, Flicks. Krazy, Kool, and Kreatively Klever. Luke Skywalker is gonna be jealous when he sees that other one.

(and I'm purposely driving spell-check krazy -- just for trying to korrect me all of time)
really nice.....tip:if you put a longer lether strip or a chain throug the hole you could wear it around yoiur neck....
That design is great. I really like the wooden one. You can probably adapt the model with an ammo mag. Great job man!!!

Yes, always nice to see something completely different. It reminds me a little bit on the slingshot I have seen from tokSick the one in the metal box with two parts.

Nice that you've built three of them.
Thank you all for your kind feedback.

@TokSick: I've already thought about an ammo mag, but due to the size, it will be limited to 6.35 mm caliber, or I have to increase the size of the sshot. Maybe I will make one with 6.35 mm magazine and a fast bandset.

@LW: In fact, I've build four.
