i had the idea while thinking 'bout how much i hate to be interrupted by band breaking while shooting:

so i would be able to shoot at least 4000 balls 'till i have to attach new bands. have to exploit the weekends, not to waste time cutting new bandsets

A double Gemini: a twin twin. I think I'd find the extra bandsets hanging off to be distracting, but who knows, maybe they wouldn't be so bad in actuality. Give it a shot.

This works. I recommend putting the unused bands around your wrist, like a lanyard, so there is no risk of entanglements.

The only disadvantage: This won't be very ergonomic as the front and back side will be identical.

you're right. loose bands would be very disturbing. but thats just the sketch of the idea.

the real slingshot might look completely different, though this design would work for me as i'm shooting finger supported gangsta style. hammergrip won't really work with forks that high.

surely i'll find ways to hold the unused bands out of the way with o-rings or kinda wrapping or clamping methods.
