I have watched many of your videos, and i love this channel.
And i like how intuitive your understanding of mechanics, and physics are. (atleast that is how it appears).

I was fascinated by your episode of The Mystery Of The Whistling Bullets: Psychological Warfare, 200 AD.

And i did a little thinking.
And i agree on the staff concept, but with a few modifications.

So i want to propose an idea of this throwing staff, which could be plausible for its time, and possibly have greater performance.

I hope you have a look at it Joerg.

Much love from Hans, Norway.

Some years ago, we did some experimental archealogy with staff slings and other launchers.
Best results for staffs were produced with slightly flexible ones. So, yeah... It surely works, but as joerg said: there will be quite some experimenting necessary to reproduce the efficiency of the old days :)

I thank you kindly for the reply, Joerg, and kindlebear.

I have a lot of ideas of how this can be done.

And i also made back in 1997 a sling stick, which throws flat rocks, at an incredible velocity.

I've been inventing stuff my whole life.

Physics comes naturally to me.

But before i brag too much i would like to state that i have no actual education in this regard.

Hope to see some Throwing staff experimentation in the future videos :)
