I have been playing with this design inspired by all the ones I’ve seen online, printed it in pla 8mm thick, had a had a shoot and it just feels right for me, converted it to gcode for my desktop cnc and well now prey to the code gods this bid doesn’t brake lol
if all goes well this will make the core to be scaled in Tasmania black heart sassafras I bought. More pics to come as I progress.

recut the frame and it’s not as smooth as it once cut, in the past I’ve cut 5mm sheet aluminium, this time is wa T6061 so I’m thinking it was just a bit tough to cut on my crappy mill but I feel it’s still usable with a quick file, much better than what my scroll saw can do.
