the "fire" slingshot made from padauk

    this is my new slingshot, made from padauk, an african as hard as rock wood, it's really really hard saw it. i called it so cause the wood remember me fire, it has pretty beautiful curve veins

    it's still a working progress but i already love it. i hope you enjoyed :)

    here it is the finished work, sanded, oiled and after few hours a lot of beewax :)

    Firstly, thank you all, i think this is my best slingshot, i really really like the wood. probably I'll make another, maybe for selling. i hope you like the finished prodouct ;)

    Nice SS, but I'm a bit worried about the plywood, 5 layers might be problematic with strong rubber.

    Anyway, a very nice slingshot, and a good finish:)
