    Hey fellow Shooters

This is my most recent Shooter
As always (nearly) the name "came to me" during the Build.
I think she looks a lot like a single Claw when you lookt at her from a certain angle.
Started as a "Tip, to get a better grip".
Zebrano, Osage Orange, Brass Palmswell, homemade Spacer (Vulcan Fibre and Brass).

    Hope you like her

    Cheers AnTrAxX

    P.S.:

I took a lot of pics with my pocket cam during the build this time. As soon as i find some time i will update this with a kind of "step-by-step" log.

My first impression was that it looked like a yellow jacket (wasp), but yes, it does look like a claw. The zebrano and orange osage go really well together. I like how you got the grain structure in the osage to follow the curve of the 'claw'. And I really like the brass palm swell. Just an overall beautiful piece of work Antraxx. Nice selfie too :) I'll be looking forward to the step by step photos, I'm really intrigued about the process that goes into building pieces like this.

Thanks Guys, always a pleasure to present something new :)

Hmm...Copper as Core? Copper is very Special...not only very soft...also very expensive
I made one out of solid Copper and one with a few Copper Parts a long time ago.

Sir, you should not be allowed to post pictures here. They are simply too disheartening to us mere mortals.

God of slingshots I grovel at your feet and beg you to have pity on us mere mortals.

When i started here i used the Pics Jörg and Nathan posted as a Motivation where i wanted to go...feel free to do so if you like, it´s not that hard. Take your time and love what you do, thats basically it.

Yes, Brass is Expensive. But it´s the Copper inside the Bass which dictates the Price. So Copper alone is more expensive.
A Knife out of Brass would be to Soft for "todays" Standards...entire Kindoms and Countrys were build and destroyed only with Sword made of Copper...but the modern Homo-Sapiens wants a Pocket knife that is harder than a Diamond i´m afraid
