    Have you seen Kill Bill? I have heard that it should be a really good movie, but I don't know. The Vol. 2 was a great deal better than Vol. 1, anyway.

    Yep, I think they are pretty good. I think Django has to be, hands down, Tarantino's best film IMO.

    Some good ones so far, +1 for:

    * Star Wars (episodes 4-6 only, and for the same reasons D stated)
    * LOTR Trilogy - one of my all time favorites
    * 13th Warrior
    * Matrix (#1 only)
    * Pirates of the Caribbean (#1 only)
    * MiB (#1 only)
    * The Avengers
    * Iron Man (#1 only)
    * The Usual Suspects
    * Shawshank Redemption
    * Monty Python and the Holy Grail

    I'll add:

    * Gladiator
    * Donnie Darko
    * Time Bandits
    * The Road Warrior (not Mad Max and definitely not Thunderdome)
    * Fifth Element
    * Braveheart
    * Memento
    * Book of Eli
    * Contact
    * Harry Potter Series (starting at the 4th movie)

    And no glittery vampire movies!!

    The only movie I have ever liked well enough to buy was, "Tremors". But there used to be a $1.00 rental joint down the street from me. I would get a big jug of cheap wine, stop at the video shop and grab about 5 or 6. I have seen a lot of REALLY bad movies. :eek:

    i always liked

    V for vendetta

    i also like the passion of the christ

    and of course who can forget what dreams may come

    and 300 is right up there

    kingdom of heaven is actually a top fav of mine also, but really there are so many to name... saving private ryan another, which reminds me of forest gump, always liked it

    reading other posts reminded me of the matrix, this is also a favorite, along with donnie darko.

    So many good movies... so little time.

    lets see what else i can think of, i dont watch many movies anymore, mostly documentaries and lectures now..., shoot em up was hillarious, along with the crank series for just unreal killing and fun :p

    its very odd actually, i have been wanting to watch this one for awhile, it is only 1 of 6 movies i have in my possession, most of my movies did not survive my conversion to Islam lol,

    so here i am, i sat down after having some friends over for dinner fully intending to watch it at some point after prayer, then i had loaded this page up, then i see kingdom of heaven in joergs comment and it was sorta creepy, but really it is a great movie so its not much of a coincidence :p
