Hi mate, yes, i use 18mm birch multiplex combined with either oak or sapele or american pink beech at the moment but i have been using hardwoods too like the purpleheart and black palm for custom jobs i havebeen asked to do

Sounds interesting yes i will do. i suppose if i was making them on a far grander scale then my materials would be cheaper but with it all being done by hand they take more time. I will deffinately post some pics of the custom work i do and get some honest opinions on it.

Im no sales guru or anything but as far as a website is concearned i would keep it simple and easy to use but as honest and informative as possible and keep it updated so people dont get bored going back to the same thing time after time.(says me who has not updated anything for a week!!!!) The rest is up to you, what designs you create or materials you use and of course the dredded price!! You have to make it a business without ripping people off but you cant afford to give everything away, just be fair and competative.
