    Hi All,

I made this little tool a while ago. Walnut. Carved without electric tools. Varnished. Used grip tape (skateboard) to make the custom concave tools and some dentist stuff for roughing out negative surfaces. Made for a tableware design competition.

Wow, very nice design, but seeing the picture create the same feeling which I had 20 years ago to my stomach smiley3756.gif

from that day on I had no Tequila (ohh, its even hard to write the word)

Your design is the only reason, that maybe can bring me back in business…:D

I love the flowing lines you incorporate into your designs.
This one is a great example--like it was formed over millenia by wind and water.

Just be careful with the good, smooth agave stuff---they say there is a fight in every bottle.:D

Glad you like it! Cheers :)

Thank you Be! I really appreciate your works and craftsmanship so your compliment feels good :)

Great you like it... I'm currently working on a natural with some curves in my mind. I'm really curious what will you say about that, but need a few weeks to finish it. Till that I'm following your threads :)

Thanks HHa! We have some crazy drunk game sentences:

Rozsaszin Moszkvics slusszkulcs (Pink Moskvich ignition key)

Tequila is great! But have you heard about ARARAT cognac? It's from Armenia. That's my choice for celebrations :D

Thank you very much Scooby! Hmmm, Absinthe? What a great idea!!!
I'm afraid of cutting ears and chasing green fairies during that project but will add to my list :D

Ja, Ja Neighbor! Are you actually speaking Hungarian or because of the similar tongue torture language?

Thanks Doom! Good to see you around!

Am really happy you like it and take care about back in business :D

Actually it was "stolen" by the organizers of the design competition. Don't want to name that company. It took 4 days to carve and few to make the design itself. It was hell of a laughter when I imagined they get so drunk they forgot my address to send it back. S**t happens :)

Hmmm, maybe some Aguardente from Monte Alegre do Sul? Few years old?
    :p If I have a chance I will try it too :D

Hi Mike! Glad you like my design style! I have to work with multiple styles and sometimes stick with pure constructional design. I like challenges but this gentle/curved shaping is the closest to my heart. In my university years I had hard times with the "Bauhaus heratige" not as a design method or spirit just as an educational system. But had some great friends and masters. One of them is Peter Uveges, he was my master (and became a great friend) at the graduation theme with this bicycle. http://www.icsid.org/feature/galleria/galleria49.htm

Now he made slide guitars. http://revomag.hu/2012/kerekparalkatreszek-altal-inspiralt-hangszerek/
Here's an interview and some "action" footage. Sadly there's no English caption, but might worth watch it.

Its crazy when a bunch of designers team up and playing with those in a small balcony or at someones flat. I'm not a player I sing only death metal :) Just kidding...

Thank You guys! Take Care with Booze :D
