Wanted to make a small Rambone for my nephew for Christmas. Two layers to 18 millimeter birch multiplex, and REALLY light TBG bands.

I bought foam balls to use when they start shooting, safe and fun I hope. Have a merry ss Christmas and I hope your kid loves the Rambone!

And to him, just putting a rock down range is absolute joy. In other words- I was not intending to make bands for obliterating wild boar in the Louisiana swamps.

By the way, he is my cousin, not my nephew. (I'm only 13)

You're only 13? That's a really nice piece of work. Keep that up and you'll be a master builder one of these days.

Thanks! Will do. My parents are divorced, so I have TWO workshops.

Ah yes, the sad tale of divorce. My parents divorced when I was 9, but my father rarely lived anywhere long enough to really set up a separate place to work like that. We didn't see my dad much and when we did on the weekends, he was usually working from home. As for me and my wife, this year marks 20 years for us, that's 8 years longer than my parents made it.

    Withak,

Sorry, I don't want to hijack the thread. I wanted to clarify that I "liked" your post for the 20 years of marriage - way to go and keep up the good work (and it is work!). :)
