Wondering how to measure the speed of ammo without expensive equipment i thought about two ways: Videocamera and counting the frames between shot and hit oder counting how many frames per meter is one way. But maybe frames per second are not allways exactly and small ammo could be invisible. So i thought about a voice record from the shot, then viewing the record on a computer screen, see and mark the needles from shot and hit and got a total time. If the recorder stood on the shooting point it is possible to divide the time for hitting-sound run back to start, about 333m/sec. The rest is the bullet-time and if the distance is knewn... How did you made your speed measures?
