    not exactly that would happen to humans. Its only the flesh, no bones no skin. So it wouldn´t penetrate it that deep. But it would hurt also a lot.

    yep,<br>if you want to compare, watch the leg of lamb or pigscheek videos.<br><br>that pig is pretty close to a human body, exept the shin is a bit thicker.<br><br>bones, especially mala bones will slow down the ball a lot tho.

    Yeah, no way does gelatin accurately portray what it would do to a human or animal, but these slingshots are very powerful nonetheless!

    so they say that that ballistics gelatin is the closest thing (besides the pig carcass) to the effect it would have on humans. I would hate to take one of those to the gut, or anywhere for that matter

    I have read some stupid comments on the other Slingshot board about this video but this is a good measure of the energy the slingshot delivers.
