Its nearly the end of March. I’m quite solidly 63.4% accurate at ten metres with a 120mm target. I get the occasional hundreds and eighties but it keeps coming back to 63.4%. So for April I want to get my lowest score 50% or above.
At ten metres the difference between the top of a 120 mm target and the bottom is
That’s not very much.
The variables which I have some control over:
position of feet
time taken to aim
point of aim
aim reference points
routine leading up to release
wind speed and direction
chronic disease symptoms (tremor, stiffness, coordination, initiation of movement).
wear and tear in rubber.
Of all these release and follow through seem to be most crucial so that is what I will focus on.
Sunny and snowing. Happy shooting. 8/10 and 10/13. 120mm target at 10m. Just as I was adding up the hits my elastic flew into the undergrowth. I found it again but it’ll need retying at home.
