I'm intrigued by the "collapsible" arrows. Will you cover their construction at a later date?

To make a two piece arrow: You will need new thread inserts for repairing arrow tips. Usually can be found at walmart or an archery shop. You will also need a piece of threaded rod or a bolt you can cut that will thread into the inserts. Balance the arrow on your finger with the tip you are going to be using in place. Once you cut the arrow, you will need to always use the same weight tip to keep it in balance. Cut the arrow at the point it balanced and install inserts into both the cut ends. Put a dab of super glue or thread locker on one end of the threaded rod before screwing it into the new insert so one side always stays put when you take the arrow down. Try to get the threaded rod centered between the two inserts as best as possible.

Three piece arrows are basically the same, except they are cut into three equal sections, instead of at the balance point. To keep the balance, try to make the threaded rods the same length, and centered between inserts. Mark your balance point before you cut the arrow, then check it after you install the inserts and see if it's at the same point. if not, you can adjust it by making one threaded rod longer or shorter to re-balance.

REMEMBER... This weakens your arrows, do NOT use them for daily practice, they will break. Three piece arrows break more often than two piece arrows. Check the tightness of the joints before you shoot. This also adds quite a bit of weight, so use the lightest tips or broadheads you can find, you will add arrow weight to make up for the lighter tips. Always use the same weight tips and broadheads after you cut them, or you will throw off the balance of the arrow.

I've been meaning to ask, did you make the slingbow and the arrows? or did you purchase them anywhere? A website or local store?
