This is definitely an area I'm going to begin exploring. I see paintball wars in my future.

Did you see what PFShooter did to a shaving cream can with a pickle fork slingshot and a gumball? Pretty impressive.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abhEf43RY6E

I used to shoot paintball at a silhouette target that I kept behind a piece of plexie. Fill it up, hose it off and go again.

Failed perception is when you have a gun, I have a slingshot and you think you are the only one that is armed.

I played paintball at a local public paintball facility several years ago with some friends. There was a young boy who was using a Daisy wrist brace style slingshot and he was pretty good. It was very stealthy. Sparked a conversation between my gun nut friends about the usefullness of a slingshot in a guerilla warfare type situation.

Nice.. I'm an avid paintball player that just got my first slingshot... just a cheapy Daisy to start playing with... I've been using some foam, practice "paintballs" and have been wondering if I could use this on the paintball field. Trick will be making sure you don't squeeze the paintball in the pouch.

Going to be hitting the paintball field in a few weeks, may have to bring the slingshot with and give it a try.

Imagine playing paintball with those slingshot shotguns Joerg makes. It would be great, and if you'd pick a right length of the rubber those shots wouldn't have to be painful.

I have over half case of paintballs left from last year, took my slingshot out back and started practicing with it. Had a left over pizza box I set up at the back of my yard, was shooting at it from about 25 paces.

Shot about 100 paintballs total, only one broke as I was drawing back... my accuracy needs LOTS more work, but many of the shots that did hit the box went right through the cardboard... some through both layers.

I kept breaking the paintballs in the pouch. My new technique which works well is to use a longer pouch, pinch some empty pouch and draw back a little, and then place a paintball into the pouch ahead of my fingers with my other hand. As you draw back the band tension hold the paintball. You can have as heavy bands as you like and you won't break them. They fly straight too!

yea, I wasn't grabbing the paintball, I was pinching where the pouch is bound to the rubber tube.

I still want to try this out on a paintball game, but the biggest obstacle right now is being able to reload fast enough.
