second slingshot - the alternative

  1. hi everyone, it was vacation in the netherlands so what to do ... building slingshots of course :)

    this one is made of a core from a really hard red wood (i have no idea what the wood is named) the handles are made of bilinga and beech. it has brass pins because the middle part consist from two parts (the wood wasn't wide enough so i had to make it from two parts). I called it the alternative because i first intend to make a different kinds of handles but that didn't work well. So i had to chose the alternative :p

    I will post some images from my first slingshot later this week because I had some problems with taking the photos.

    I like the profile of the forks...that's very modern but classical at the same time.

    Very nice piece of work. I like the style and the contrasting colors of the wood work very well together. As MS said, both modern and classical.
