I have now moved from my first somewhat ugly coat hanger slingshot to a natural fork slingshot made from a branch my dad was thoughtful enough to bring by. He knows I am a big fan of the slingshot channel so he saw this branch and brough it by. So I bought a file set, rasp, saw and some sandpaper and got to work.
    Here is the result.

I still need to order some rubber for making a band set and order some leather for making a pouch, but I think this is pretty good for my first woodworking slingshot project.
