After carving down a log for hours on end, I decided that using dimensional lumber was the way to go.

This is my Bat-a-Pult, named after the caped crusader, himself. It's cut from 3/4" red oak, and had two L bolts epoxied into the frame for tubular band attachment.

Again, another side shooter. I've fallen in love with this style, but not with this particular frame. I hadn't anticipated the angularity being a problem, but after making more rounded frames, I find it to be annoying and uncomfortable.

Still, it works and I'll find a place for it some day. Below is my blueprint for the design, if you'd like to make one for yourself.

Yeah this is one of my favourate designs too as it feels more comphy as a vertical shooter and is shaped better for this purpouse too. Great job btw wonderfull work

Thank you! I'm a fan of the shape as well, though as I said, this particular one is a bit too angular, particularly in where the fingertips find themselves on the back of the frame and where the thumb slot digs into your palm.

I have another frame I posted up here that amends these problems however for a much more comfortable shooter.

    Looks very good.
I like the blueprint with the bandgrooves more than the one with the topattachment tho.

I wonder if you were to dip the handle portion in liquid rubber. Maybe then it will have a softer feel.
