scandi knife from file

    hi guys, it's me again, i'm not disappeared :D
    i'm proud to present you my latest work, it's a scandi blade made from a file.
    the handle is made out of padouk, aluminum and ebony, nothing more to say, it's a simple knife.

    what did you temper it at?

    i tempered it two times at 200° C for an hour

    dont let her get dull or you'll have a heck of a time getting her sharp again. i own a zdp endura that i literally had to take a grinder to, to get it close to sharp again then a hour or so on the diamond pads to get it back to sharp. hard steel is nice for edge holding but ever get them dull and they are a PITA to sharpen again.
