    Hi guys,

i will show you my first and second selv made slingshot.

i have made the slingshots last week.

im a knive builder and i had left the woods yet. so I thought it time we build a slingshot.

    these are the results.

the first was made about 12 mm multiplex, birch on the front, teak wood on the handle and a red inlay from vulcanfieber.

These are amazing pieces of art. I am not sure if the second one would/can withstand the strain of the bands without a stable core (or is vulcanfibre that strong?)

I also do not know whether the slingshot the load of the belts can withstand, the vulcanfieber is quite stable but not very thick.

However, the solid woods are easily added and glued together with epoxy.

When editing the timber has at least not weaken adhesive surface shown.

I also have quite strong gerd moves to the end without that something had moved.

So we let ourselves be surprised if everything holds as I hope it.

Do not get me wrong, I really like it but be safe and wear googles. Put it in a vise put rope around the forks and pull. If it holds it is safe to shoot with it.

I understand your fear no mind.

if it calms you dan for the first shots I pull my fencing equipment including fencing mask to nothing can happen ;)

However flippingoutslingshots made their slingshots exactly the same and partly without stabele core.

I've also worked a lot with wood and epoxy and have therefore also quite a large trust in the materials.

We'll know later than after the first shots as well is keeping everything.

I'll me there anyway no big worry.

there is also always depends on how strong the bands and how strong is the slingshots loaded.

Both are eye candy, but number two is a real stand-out.

Like a great painting, my eyes wander all around it looking for new tasty details to devour.

I have no trouble understanding your English--it is just fine. Thanks for sharing these photos.
