Hello everyone. This is my second Rambone. I had a lot of fun doing this one. Its seven layers of material (lexan, oak, cherry, mahogany and maple). To show off the Lexan I used a flashlight with a white and red LED and shined it through the the SS. I love the way the red looks. Oh and I am designing A SS to have LEDs inside it to light up with a trigger built into the handle. If you have never held a Rambone i have to say it is such a great design. It fits your hand like its just another part of you. SO if you have the means make one if not try to get one from the store or someone that can make it. It will be worth you time and money. It is however a very challenging peace to build, it has so many curve and angle to think about during the build. Then and all the crazy laminating I did. There are so many people here get my inspiration from. I just wonted to say thank you all from sharing you work. And especially Jeorg for designing the Ramdone and for letting us all share your idea and passion for the sport. Well i hope you like it. Off to make bands and going shooting.

    That's beautiful work.

Good to know that Lexan bonds well to wood--what are you gluing everything up with?

The light effect adds a whole extra dimension, a TRON themed Rambone would be sweet for number 3.:D

I used two part epoxy to bond everything. Great stuff! and I like the Tron idea I'm thinking Micarta and lexan and LEDs:D
