Can anyone tell a bit about how exactly the two 1-9 scales affect things, and some of the bands it told me to make were 3cm wide, that's a bit wide for my forks, should I be folding them? Is there an advantage to folding or cutting them into smaller bands? And if folded, does the orientation of the fold have any effect? Thanks!

you can just fold them, it doesn't effect the power or anything

Here you see the area in which you get the best bands:<br><a href="http://www.servimg.com/image_preview.php?i=54&u=16906761" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://i40.servimg.com/u/f40/16/90/67/61/bandre10.jpg" border="0" alt=""></a><br><br>This is my favorite setup for 16mm but only 30cm long. <br>why not cut the bands in half? you dont need to fold them.

I go always to the higher performance range. I do not want to shoot with the bands for a longer time. however I did not break a band I made with the calculator until now. I am really happy with this tool...
