Yep this guy rocks. I also watched his PVC slingshot, awesome how he used it to shoot arrows !

This thing looks like kind of an abomination but it still works so I guess it's still cool... but Nick's single piece PVC bows that he makes with a heatgun appear to be just about as powerful and 900 times more simple and elegant.

Yeah, he can make AWESOME things with pvc. I like his hungergame inspired bow.

only two questions i have with these pvc bows

1 how does the pvc bow shoot after extended exposure to uv-light
2 how does the pvc bow shoot in extreme cold

i think both cases it will become brittle an breaking will be a real danger

but for playing around at home they look like great fun

I agree, it sounds like fun and I may try this myself just for the heck of it, but I wouldn't plan on counting on these bows for anything other than backyard fun. I've seen some of his other videos before and he's got some very creative ideas with PVC - and yes, PVC is fun to work with, very versatile and no too expensive.

I just watched his "hobbit" inspired bow. I didn't even think about heating and shapeing PVC. That opens up a whole new door for exploration for me! lol:D
