  5. Great.

You also can transport your Slingshot's in the Box and need no other!

The carpet in there is genious.

The signals on the box are great:

    1. deadly

    2. corrosively

    3. flammable

    4. injurious

And you can make a padlock on it!

    How big is it?

tokSick where do you get it?

    Joe

It is possible to adapt it to carry ammo and slingshot inside too! Great idea! Maybe in the future I'll make one for me.

Very nice, great use for the box!
As Drachen suggested, possibly 'biohazard' warning label...or maybe 'toxic' (sorry man, couldn't help it)!:D

    good idea. really practical

  9. tocSick,

you could make some small doors in the cover with some foam to Transport your Slingshot's!

So you can Transport about minimal 5 Slingshot's and a lot of Ammunition in the last smal Box!

Great Idea! I have a few boxes similar to yours, I will have to see if I can dig them up. Not for shooting into as I would just ruin the box but for carting the ss and ammo around in. That had never even crossed my mind to use them that way....Many Thanks!

The box is 36x30x30 approximately. They are renovating a house not far from here and the box was there with all the things they were throwing away. I' ve found the carpet( 2 of them) some days ago.
Ryan opened a thread long time ago and i never forgot that one, a word to the wise...
Here is what will go in the " Magic box"

Hey Ryan, if you read this. Thanks a lot mate.

That catchbox looks great. I always wanted a one :)

I think with yours catchbox the most difficult part will be to ensure that the ammo doesnt bounce from the backstop (carpet) outside the box. Carpet didn't work for me because of that exact reason. Anyway, maybe yours is not so tough and will work well.

    Hi stej,
The carpet will not stay as it is, i will cut stripes out of it and put them like on the picture. 3 or 4 layers should be enough to stop the projectile, theoretically it should break the force and the ammo will not bounce back.

    What do you think?

  14. Absolutely great Recycling!

I think when you make that carpet as on your drawing it would be the best.

Even open your eyes when you are driving at houses who, would be renovate!

Or where big trash mountain in front of houses when they are relocate!

We in german have to give one way bottles back!

My son looks even when we are on bus stops or bus stations and train stations in the waste containers.

Some times also in bus and trains. So he has one day about 5€ in one hour!

One bottle gives about 25 cent.

So the carpet is cutted into stripes and fixed like on the drawing on both sides of a piece of wood.

    Then fixed in the catchbox.
I took 10 shots at it from 7m and none of them bounced back, they all fall nicely in the box.

That design should absorb a ton of energy from the projectile without issue. Fact is, the military is working on a 'bullet-proof vest' utilizing the same 'overlapping' method.
    Great idea!

  19. I think that will work very well to stop the ammunition!

    Great job great work.

Show us some shootings in the mobile catchbox!

Cool, i love it, especially the warning signs on the outside. Was it previously used to carry some chemicals?
