Hello guys,

today i went to my workshop to finish the laminated Woodboards I made for tokSick and spent some time to make a pocketslingshot named "the Bug".
Its a design close to the Dragon slingshot that i have found on the internet.

not bad for its size

...not really powerfull, but not bad for its size!

it does not have strong bands, its more a funslingshot for the pocket

    Well done!
I think you should work on your banding skills the banding at the fork looks a bit slippy.
Why is it called "the bug" ?
Keep on!

Looks nice mate. I really like small shooters, most people are surprised when i shoot with one of them. I am now working on a small shooter(bottle opener) and i hope it will shoot nice.

The size(or the power) doesn' t really mater to me, it is all about fun( i don' t hunt). Yours looks strong enough to support strong bands and it seems like having a good grip. Good job.

I don´t know why it is called the bug. The Desighn is not my own... i think because its small like a bug.

I really like this small slingshots too. I never thought that it will shoot so well. It´s fun!

@courier: ...you`re right mate, the bands are not accurate attached, but this slingshot is the result of only one hour of work, it was just to try it out...
i still have to make a better finish and i think it will get a new bandset with stronger bands.

@tokSick: very good idea with the bottle opener! can´t wait to see the result!

I think it is the natural wood color enhanced by the light

I like it, and looks easy to do, would you give some dimensions?

dont use his dimensions make your own dimensions to fit the size of your hand If you have a small hand and he has a big hand his dimensions will be hard for you to hold

I'm not going to copy it, but he says it's comfortable then I want to try his dimensions, actually I want to try and make a clay model first and will change the dimensions if needs be.
One other thing is that I want to try and make this into a TTF design, shot my hand two times lately and want to see if I have more luck with a TTF:)

CEZ: I would recommend the one or two "slot-method" then!
