I made a new Slingshot, Size not that optimal but as a try not that bad.

The plan is to shoot it with 6mm steel balls cause they are cheap and i have still about 200pcs.
Do you think the thickness of the fork will cause problems?

    Greetings Andreas

Nice one! I guess this can take quite a few fork hits! :D

Nice one, the fork size looks a little bit unusual but shouldn't be a problem and - hey, who wants a usual design? :D

I like this strong design! For some reason, it seems like a weapon that would be used by a hero from Greek mythology! Perhaps Perseus would have liked this for use on Medusa! Simply wait until she was not looking and then WHAP...no more evil snake lady:D!
    Nice work!

The handle looks like it should grip nicely. The extra thick forks from multiplex should make it immune to fork hits. Heavy bands and irregular ammo optimized. Nice work.

Your design suggests that forkhits are not going to be a problem. and it must be quite acurate too!

The execution is nicely done, but I see it more as a curiosity than practical.

Thanks! I shoot more acurrate with this one than with my others, don´t know why....
But only light ammo- 6mm steelballs maybe i´ll attach bigger bands soon to try.
Was painting it about 4-5x (and sanding).

My iron one is finished too, i´ve got now a small collection :)
Hopefully this week my roll cutter is coming- now i cut bands with a Cold steel voyager Tanto- works well but could be better
