Plastic Hangar PFS

    After figuring out what kind of wrapping I should use, I'm sure I don't have to work on this any longer.

    I made it out of some pretty weak plastic hangar. The previous one I made snapped at one of the forks so I "heat treated" the split and it's working just fine.

    Here's a picture of the hanger I used

    Holding it without a wrap was completely uncomfortable, having the left side of the fork dig into my index finger. The leftover-lanyard wrap works much better compared to the leftover-sweater rags I used for my other poor-man's slingshots

    sorry but I find it's not a good idea, if it breaks when pulling you could receive a fork tip slap over your face or an eye ... be careful ...

    Agree with the others, but keep building, as jörg showed some scissors and a lot of tape make a good SS:)

    I feel some concern about safety issues because I think when you use that cheap, light plastic hanger tubing you're courting disaster. That stuff is not designed or made to withstand any kind of pressure. Beware of the possibility of getting injured.
