I've found that the PFS with rounded fork tips is giving me a tighter grouping, maybe I'am wrong but I believe it is more immune to "canting" differences

any feedback to confirm or reject this "theory" is welcome ...

Nice shooting Arturo! Don't know about effect of rounded forks affecting accuracy.
I know it will take more than rounded forks to improve mine. ;)

Great ! look the grouping almost all shoots over 1" area, many "through the hole" LOL ! and with your new "secret tool" will be easy, waiting your feedback, feel free to post pics and videos here my friend (and of course anyone else) if you want ...
    Cheers

    even worse!

    Hi Arturo,

you an Saderath are making my tenis elbow even worse!
(to accept as a given fact to give my forkarm a rest..) :)

    ..but only at third place..

First thing on my mind was was "violet blossom, violet blossom, violet..)
    which looks really nice!

Second was the thought of the possibility that there might be less
piling and stacking of some (already "relaxed") band near the forktip,
because the "roundings" leaving more space for the bands moving "forward"..

Might in your "sideways" style lead to less distarction left/right
    (in case bands act symmetrical)

ehmm and ah, what is the secrettool? :)
    RC-Balls? ;)

please tell me (here at the thread :) ) Iwon´t tell anybody else..

Greetings to you and that other magician in Greece,

    Be

Hey Be, take care your tennis elbow, I got forearm pain for a week, crafting and sanding 3 slingshots by hand and I guess is not near painful as a tennis elbow, shoot ALL light. The blossoms are announcing that spring started here, nice the summer better even LOL !
I think the same, another very good grouping shooter is the koumania Saderath's gift and it has same forks profile, rather sharp and rounded, that means bands force are tied to only one well defined "point" with very little surface to let the rubber "stick" over the fork surface. A flat fork tip if not perpendicular (canted) to bands will have 2 points of force, one in front and other at the back of the fork tip, and maybe rubber sticking over the flat surface.
ha LOL RC is too old and slow, I use superfast autonomous AI imaging software chip inside the ball LOL !!

    Greeting from the southern hemisphere
    Arturo

Seems that we withness the creation of the "Arturo" fork tips!
I've been doing this too since you showed me!
The first video seems like a wider butterfly than your usual! And I see magic rubber all around!

yes first video is wider draw with the thumb point UP (10cm more draw), the second is shorter (band break and pouch retie) thump pointing to the FRONT ... the Koumania is banded with thicker Cando Latex composite ... ha ha your magic rubber changed my life and hopefully for several month more thanks again doc BV ...
    Cheers

More nice work, Arturo. I must make a PFS one of these days. When I do, I think the rounded fork tips will be a must.

Gonna have to try that kind of rounding on my next slingshot. Thanks for sharing.
Great vidz as always and great shooting, of course. The summer is coming at your place and here winter is taking place little by little. So keep up the warm vidz to cheer me up. ;)
