    Hello my dear forum members,
I had some spare time in the last weeks and decided to make a slingshot.
Fortunately I got some nice pieces of Orange-Osage wood from a good friend.
Since I have no room for big machinery, I used only my hands to craft this slingshot.
It took me quite a while, because the wood is very solid. But I made it.
This is the finished slingshot. Just click on the picture for full view.

This PFS (Pickle Fork Shooter) turned out very good.
DGUI is a master in shooing it.
He has his own channel 'pfshooter' on YouTube.

    BUMP

I know this thread is as old as the hills. Nevertheless it might be interesting to the folks who joined the forum at a later moment or missed this thread. I am talking about Whittler, TNSSG, Gniaffron, BV, wellmade2040, lucas414, AngelicScars, Withak, dinobuddy, Gunguy, Jeb, Drew_Bilbrey, Super Baba :D, bigdh2000, Jack739, Seppman. Did I forget anyone? ;)

As WildBill noticed - there is a slack of "SOYH (=Show off your homemades)-threads" at the moment. A way how we can couteract this slack is: BUMP your old and overlooked threads back to the top!

    What do you guys think?

You were right, i missed this one, too! Nice job! Are those "stripes" a characteristic of the wood? Looks really awsome!

Yes these "stripes" are typical of osage wood. It is remarkable that this wood has a specific 3D-effect (don't know how to describe it but here's my try) - if you change your perspective the "stripes" start to change their brightness.

@all: Thank you very much for your comments! I really appreciate it.
