    Here are my new 2 Projects, i want to build one aut of iron and an old school slingshot out of a fork found in the forrest this weekend...

    I like these! I can tell that some serious work went into the iron frame, and you found a great natural fork to work with too! Nice work and keep us posted as you progress!

    @onnod: not sure jet, but i think i don´t need one... could weld one ;)
    @Brazilviking: yes, i want to use a nice peace of nut-wood, have to see how i will do it

    Today my rubber band came... i also have a peace of leather... i´ll post if i´m done

    you won't? i am wondering because this desing will cause a lot of strain on your wrists

    Well i made a sereous Mistake with the iron one; i added now a brace but on the wrong side.... so i have to cutt it and re-weld ^^
    The grip is ready so far but not mounted in the moment- i´ll finish this week.

    The wooden one is ready sanded, but i have Problems with the rubber Band- it slipped out... i folded it (Z- Form).
    Is the round end of the fork not optimal....?

    So, i worked at the iron one and here are the Updates... next time sanding the upper ends of the fork and attaching the rubber bands.
    By the way: how do you cut your Rubbers?
    I had some Problems, the best way was a curved knife....

    Ah, that is looking very good now! That trim ring is an excellent addition and really makes the design very clean! Great work!
