This is a shooter I built a couple weeks back. It is very much inspired by the classic Bill Hays 'Pocket Predator' design. There are some big differences with this interpretation however. I used no templates or blueprints, I simply let the saw do as it wished. The result is a longer shooter, less aggressively curved and with the added support of a mid-hand swell. The woods are 12mm birch ply, red oak and poplar and it is finished with 15 coats of Tru-Oil. It is a great shooter, I cut cans for three hours straight today.
