    Here's another one, guys. It's birch plywood with oak accents, finished with a combination of linseed oil, danish oil, shellac, and buffing wax. It's banded up with three layers of generic exercise bands that are comparable to theraband black. <br><br><a href="http://www.servimg.com/image_preview.php?i=45&u=17228318" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://i42.servimg.com/u/f42/17/22/83/18/imag0814.jpg" border="0" alt=""></a><br><br><a href="http://www.servimg.com/image_preview.php?i=46&u=17228318" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://i42.servimg.com/u/f42/17/22/83/18/imag0815.jpg" border="0" alt=""></a><br><br><a href="http://www.servimg.com/image_preview.php?i=47&u=17228318" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://i42.servimg.com/u/f42/17/22/83/18/imag0816.jpg" border="0" alt=""></a><br><br><a href="http://www.servimg.com/image_preview.php?i=48&u=17228318" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://i42.servimg.com/u/f42/17/22/83/18/imag0817.jpg" border="0" alt=""></a><br><br>Cheers!

Thanks guys! Ryan, I wish you WOULD too, haha. <br><br>I plan on making one with more exotic wood next time. After that It'll be stick shots for a while since I miss using my lathe.

Nice! I love the color.<br><br>I have one with oak in the works, too. Almost finished, it is currently drying from the final watering.

Thanks, Joerg! Your works are true inspiration.<br><br> The Palm hammer you made and gifted to Tobias gave me an idea for a welded steel version similar to your aluminum and zebra wood frame. Wood scales for the grip and band attachments would complete the thing. I've yet to start on it, but I plan to. Can't beat a 3mm thick fork.

Beauty! The lighter colored lams almost look like sheets of copper in the pics. <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" longdesc="6">

Pelleteer, the cherry stained danish oil I used initially had more of an impact on the birch than on the oak. No complaints here. Although next time I'll use a darker accent wood to make it more interesting.

Thanks Dave! I watched your video explaining the slingshot in your picture. Very intuitive.

Spatzen, it's my most comfortable slingshot to date. Of course, credit goes to Joerg for the design. I just widened it up a bit.

Earth 2, it's a really straight forward design. All you need is a laminated wood or strong material for the core, and then you just glue on more stuff to thicken it out. If you were in the states, I'd see about shipping it to you. Unfortunately, I'm too broke to reach Italy.
