New from the Netherland on this Forum

Hi there everybody, I'm new on this forum since a few weeks and saw that I did not introduced myself properly. I'm Bart (Fryskehoun) and I live in the Netherlands, almost 40 years old and experimenting with sling and slingshots. I'm completely new at this but I am liking it all the way. I started by making my own slingshots (bean shooter) a couple of months ago after watching some youtube movies about it. After that I walked into the woods behind my house in search for some natural forks to create my first slingshot. And now I'm here in the hope that I can learn from all you veteran sling shooters. I hope that you can all read this because my English is a bit rusty. With Greeting, Bart from The Netherlands

 HAHAHA, There was once a coach from the Netherlands (Rinus Michels (you probably still know him, he was the coach that kicked Germany's butt in 1988 in the semifinals hahahaha)) who said "Soccer is War". I always quote him in that, and then I finish his sentence with "War is bad, so Soccer is Bad". But that is probably because I don't like soccer

. So let us all have fun with a slingshot instead of a soccer ball.

Welcome Bart. If you are living near the borderline to Germany, stand with one feet on the Netherlands and with one feet on the German side. So it´s half illegal while shooting. <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png" alt="Very Happy" longdesc="1">

 I'm Always playing with fire my mopther always said. So every match in the house was hidden from me <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2"> so I learnd how to start a fire with two sticks <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_cool.gif" alt="Cool" longdesc="6">. And we all know that what is forbidden is fun. No pain, no gain.

 Hi Lars, It a dog breed that originates in the Netherlands province of Friesland <img src="http://www.friesewetterhoun.nl/NHSB%202654402-1.JPG" border="0" alt=""> It is the breed that me and my wife breed.
