Hi, I've made a natural one. After attaching the bands a few weeks ago it worked perfectly. Yesterday I bought some linseedoil and I gave it a nice finish. But my problem is: If I want to shoot the slingshot now, the bands keep slipping of. I have a OTT attachment. I dont know what to do. I thought the fork tips were to oily, but after sanding it, the bands keep slipping of. Can someone help me?

I had the same problem a week ago. I waited a few days and the forks weren't slippy any more.

Sounds like the oil didn't have enough time to fully 'dry'. If you can't wait, I find that making a wrap of TB around the fork before laying the band on the wood, then continuing the wrap is helpful. The rubber underneath helps hold things a bit more steady.
