I brought the "micarta" it's actually sold as "phenolic laminates/insulation" in my area, it comes in all kinds of different grades and base material, my sheet was natural canvas base.

The overall frame itself is around 19-20mm approx, so it's not that thick?

You can't achieve deep curves with a router/router bit (unless you want radius corners). I used the contact wheel on my belt grinder and various other sanding drums.

Thanks,

As always, a very unusual and beautiful slingshot. Even if I tried, I could not do better.
Your slingshots have a very high recognition value, which is due to your excellent design.

questions:

But why is there a third hole in the bottom aluminum and not (in the end) in the canvas phenolic laminate. Did you forget to drill the holes bevore laminating the second side...?

What glue do you use for laminating?

Thank you very much for sharing your projekt with us.

The third hole was suppose to be a lanyard hole, but i decided i didn't really need one.

I just used regular steel epoxy by Devon.
