I think so too but I don´t know were to buy. The rubber I use now is the only rubber I can found, bought at a local warehouse. Cannot find tubes on ebay neither...

I found something on ebay. You can get thera tubing too.

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Dankung-Style-17-45-Slingshot-Tubing-15ft-/180861846757?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a1c34c4e5

It says 'Dankung style'. Not sure if it is 'original'.

Dankung.com will ship it to your house.

http://www.dankung.com/emart/

It may help you.

Tubes should be easy to find on ebay. I wouldn't get anything that says dankung or chinese style. The chinese use very thin tubes because they loop them and use two strands per side. It would be much to small to fit over those forks.

The commercial style tube bands would actually probably work on that if the forks are the size they look like in the picture. They will look like this.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Trumark-Slingshot-Replacement-Band-Tapered-Pull-RRT-NEW-/370299932452?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5637988f24

If you want to make your own from scratch just get some of the larger tubing. A lot of tubing gives a measurement of the inside diameter and the outside diameter in mm like the link posted above they are 17-45. This means the inside diameter is 1.7mm and the outside is 4.5mm. Just measure the diameter of your fork tips to find an appropriate size.

I hope this helps and I apologize if I have told you anything that isn't correct.

Ok stupid question.
For the stickshot xbow.
How come the ammo when shot does not hit the "stick".

Is it on how the elastic is positioned, a technique of some sort when shooting ?

Very nice design if you can explain that to me

Thanks

Im glad you ask! Its pretty simple: A regular office rubberband flicks the stick and copys the movement of your hand. Slingshots doesnt need forks if you flick your hand. You can also search on youtube for "joergsprave stickshot" and see how it works. Its not my design, I just copied what Joerg already built.

mjnilles: Thank you!
