As you can see, this one is inspired by Rambone, thanks Jörg. For a slingshot newbie like me, sometimes (a few times for hundreds of shot) I hit my moorhammer fork-base. That's why right now I have a new slingshot with longer fork. The material I used were the same as my first moorhammer. Two layers black canvas Micarta to be the core, the thickness is about 0.95cm for one layer. The red one between canvas micarta is vulcanized fiber. The top and down layer are Dymondwood which is laminated cocobolo, thickness is about 0.64cm for one layer. The overall weight (rubber band included) is 141 grams. This is also my first time to cut Thera-band gold and built my own flatband. I read "how to do it" and used the calculator at Jörg web site before I put my hands on the rubber. But the leather pouch which I reused from broken bands (I bought it from local market) was too heavy, so I had "finger hit" after shot. I could not find a new leather immediately, so I cut a pair of Thera-band with longer length, it reduced the shotting power but good for my fingers. I'll buy some leather too though. Here have some pictures I took this morning, after about 100 shots, I could not say I don't like this new one.
