    Hello again,

This was finished today, but the framework was actually the second one I made. It is the same material (4mm steel rod) as my first one but I scrapped because it bended to much under strain.
I re-bent it a little bit and weaved the flat textile around it and here it is: My second frame

I got some green theratube on it but they are too strong, at the end it is just 4mm steel.

I think some nice, not too strong flatbands will work better.

Nice idea! Cool braided tapes. And handslap proof!
The design is unique. Maybe too strong bands can bend the forks...
    Thumbs up!

    Thank you, Raul

That is in fact the problem, therefore: light bands it is......think i got some red lying around somewhere

EDIT: Yep, found the red bandset, much less strain and no bending

Looks good! You would be a great guy to be friends with in a post-apocalypse scenario because you can build a shooter from anything!

Nice design. A 4 mm rod will be strong enough. When you pull back the bands, some energy is going into the frame, but that hasn´t to be bad, because it´s like a spring and will give the energy back.

One solution for controlling the bend of the frame ia a front band that holds it. The weak spots on bended metal are aways the bending poit (orthopadic experience on plates molded by hand)
    look!

Really nice Design! Handslaps Good Bye
For stronger Bands, a 8 mm Roundsteel should be strong enough when you make another one.

It's a real challenge to bend it without special tools, I think!

I look forward to your Projekts MVD :D
Its really easy to bend, you need only a vise, a tube and a Hammer.
When you are not strong enough, you need only a lever to bend this ;)
I have made a short Video, and post this soon.

Here is the Short Video. And with a longer lever, you can bend it mutch easier or stronger Steel but I´am not sure if you can bend Titan cold.
Sry that I post this into your thread MVD, I hope it´s ok for you.
And sry for my look  I come from Work :p

Thank you my Friend, I look forward to the new one!
Are your New Projekts again made from Steel?
Your last one is really Nice, with the Bended Steel!

Thank you my Friends, I´am glad that you like it!
But I have to clean up the Workshop  And it´s not difficult Raul.
You just have to watch out, that the Vise and Table are Strong enough ;)
I have crashed a Vise from my Dad, Years before on the same Action
If you then take a 1 meter Tube, you can easily bend the Steel in the right direction, and Hammer the last Part.
